With the signings of Watson and Cerny, Stubbs has depth in pretty much all areas of the squad. What does everyone think our strongest eleven is?

IMO:

Cerny (although I wouldn't drop Oxley yet)

Gray Hanlon Fontaine Stevenson

Robertson
Mcgeouch Allan Craig

El Alagui Malonga.

Very difficult as Cummings has been banging them in and Oxley has only really made one mistake all season and for the first time in a very long time we have a settled back 5.

Very difficult as Cummings has been banging them in and Oxley has only really made one mistake all season and for the first time in a very long time we have a settled back 5.

I posted previously that I think a 352 suits us better. At the time I also said El Alagui and Malonga but on reflection I'd be tempted to stick with Cummings and Malonga. El Alagui could be a fantastic impact player. We've got to remember the extent of his injury plus Cummings is bang in form. So I'd say I got that one wrong.

I'd go with:

Oxley
Forster Hanlon Fontaine
Gray McGeouch Robertson Allan Stevenson
Malonga Cummings

Re the bit in bold I like Oxley and see no reason to drop him but he has made more than one mistake. Against Falkirk (2), away at Raith and also at Alloa but mistakes happen. He was also superb at Ibrox and at home to Rangers. Think he's a decent 'keeper despite his relatively young age so would definitely stick with him.

Theres no evidence those two can play together and as you say, Cummings is scoring a lot of goals, so why wouldnt he be in the team?

We have options up front so that may vary, but the rest of the team picks itself at the moment. The only difference would be whether its a 352 or a 442, in which case it would be Forster for Craig.
