No, no don't worry, I haven't jumped the gun and stolen Pedantic Hibbee's thunder. But seeing as Jim White and Skybet are campaigning to get it made a public UK holiday (see below), given .net's vast collective experience of the day itself, what else might we suggest happens to make Transfer Deadline Day that bit more epic??

I imagine a few well known crisp and other savoury snack brands might be getting requests for gratuitous "2 for 1" offers and similar...............
