Interesting.

Does the club statement mean that some people have been voting when they were ineligible?

How long does it take to verify and count 3000 votes?

Much maligned Edinburgh Council can usually manage it in a few hours.

I don't think so, I think it just means the system they are using for verification is not as slick as they'd hoped. They may have listened too much to ERS on this one.

Verification of votes by a council is done in a 2 step process and is not nearly as secure as the Hibs process is, or at least could/should be.

I'd be surprised if the winners dont know already, need to make sure that there happy to accept the role, before Hibs confirming it next week.

I think it's probably to allow maximum publicity for the candidates as opposed to it being lost in the debt reductiom stuff.

Announce it Tuesday, have it verified at the AGM on Wednesday. Sorted.

Quite a low turnout. I would guess around possibly 10k hot the vote including shareholders.

I guess that is because most people, myself included, didn't know much about any of the candidates making it a bit of a lottery. I voted simply on who had the best photo:greengrin

Separate question how long do 'the winners' keep their board seats for? Annual elections. every 3 years, rest of there lives? In my view they should need to seek re-election say every 2 or max 3 years? Any one know the answer? Thoughts?

No, 1,500 voters x 2 votes = 3,000 total votes.

And then claim they've had 800,000.
