If Stuart McCall has an ounce of sense he will instantly distance himself from this job.... I fear he may just be there next boss though....

Best laugh I've had in ages. You must have a look at the Huns fans forum. Seems they have something wrong with their avatars and they have gone back to ones from a couple of years ago. Guys who have pictures of Craig whyte, Charles green, mccoist and the like are going nuts. Classic.

K McD is apparently serving a 12 month notice period, meaning although he has said he wants to quit, he won't actually leave the post for 12 months.

There's no way on God's Green Earth Rangers can afford to bring anyone half decent in, so (I think) this leaves us with the wonderfully hilarious situation where someone who has actively said he doesn't want to be there will remain Head Coach for the next 12 months.

That surely can't be right.

Can it??

I see Wattie Smith already tapping up McInnes for the job, remarkable really in that they don't have a pot to piss in and are on the brink of financial ruin yet he spouts this garbage!

Glad this has happened though, ought to really destabilise them even more now.

Yes it can. That's exactly what McCoist did. It must be a pre-requisite when filling out the application form for a job at Dobies.

I'm not glad that this has happened now.

When all is said and done they're still 3 points ahead of us with a game in hand and still in the Scottish Cup with us.

With the transfer window still open, there is still a chance (however small it seems) that with a decent new manager and possibly some money from somewhere for new players that they may yet get their act together.

We have the form and momentum right now and football-wise they appear to be a basket case. There are still some decent players there though and so far they've dealt with the "wee teams" a lot better than us.

I'm just a bit mindful of the fact that Hertz emerged from their reeking pile of manure smelling of roses last season. I don't want the same to happen with the The Rangers.

If this had happened in 2 weeks time I might think differently.

They will be making plans I have no doubt and it ,may be that they take the short term view we need to keep getting more and more loans from whoever to fund a new management team if they see that as best chance of going up this season .They won't want to plan to have to settle for another season in the championship Imo ,so plenty twists and turns to come yet .and remember we got Malonga out with the Transfer window ,so even if it takes into February they could still do some business with players freed at end of Transfer window .

when it comes to this lot I am taking nothing for granted .

Cannot see McInnes leaving the Sheep for that mob - but Heay stranger things of happened.

Moving from a team on the up in just about all aspects - squad/results/crowds etc to an ageing team who are utter ***** and as you've mentioned they don't have a pot to piss in.

McInnes won't go. Outside chance of someone like McCall or Billy Davies though. Either of them would instantly improve them unfortunately

Semi-decent to manage what, exactly? Mourinho would struggle with the squad that is there.

I am still confident that they will be caught for 2nd place.

Find it strange that KM is leaving due to personal problems or something like that but is still working 12 months notice.

Find it strange that KM is leaving due to personal problems or something like that but is still working 12 months notice.

My interpretation is that he has relinquished the 'Caretaker Manager' role and is to return to his original duties, ie. First team Coach, for which he has given notice and will be expected to work 12 months or receive severence if he is relieved of the position before that time.

Therefore they either need to appoint another current member of staff to the manager position or bring someone in to do the role.

All this assumes that his contract has no stipulation that he would be responsible for manager's role in the abscence of the regular incumbent, its all great fun though!

I am applying for the job. Well, the Job Centre said to "apply for anything" so there you go.

They'd be making a huge mistake in appointing me, mind. A huge mistake.

I Think they need to bring back (Fish)Sup(p)er Ally. It must come to pass. Oh yes. Imagine the legend taking them to the 3rd divsion....twice :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I hope they disappear into nothingness, again, never to be as much as an unwanted pimple on the arse of humanity.
