Having read this, I have come to realise that I had the guy all wrong: he is a modern day saint.

He is clearly quite emotional during this interview: how else could you explain the fact that he forgot to mention that his employee pension fund had a massive shortfall in it?

I remember reading that the Bank of Scotland were happy to sign off pretty much any kind of loan for Murray back in the 'good old days' when he was in charge of Rangers. Kind of ironic then that the bank forcing him to sell some assets has played its part in the downfall of his empire.
