Makes sense. This one didnt work out.

That would suggest that we are looking at another loan player to come in. cant see Stubbs getting rid just for the sake of it.

Pity for Sinclair, never really had a chance to show what he was about. The saints academy is far from shabby so he's obviously got something about him.

All the best Jake.

I'm not sure it does.

He didn't make enough of an impact to need replaced. We don't play with wingers and got plenty cover up front.

Sensible decision.

Frees up space for another loan and offloads a player who for whatever reason has contributed very little.

If we bring in a loan player, then he should be much better than the players we already have at the club. Bringing in anyone on loan who's not going to be one of the first names on the team sheet seems to me a little wrong.

I know its a squad game these days, but we need these loan players to actually make a difference to the team not just supplement the numbers.

Depends, if we are short in an area and they get injured, better to have a loan player able to stand in than no one at all. Obviously if we can get a loan player who is better then absolutely we should but we have to also have adequate cover to see us through the rest of the season.

Hes been nowhere near the first team though so surely sending him back was the only option? Id say keeping him would have just been for the sake of it when we can either use the wages elsewhere, or have one of our own youngsters on the fringes of the first team.

Yes i can see that, but hopefully in the not too distant future any loan player we bring in will be a star for that period he's with us.

And the cover we have and need will come from within through the ranks of the youth team.

It wouldn't necessarily be a direct replacement, could get a RB (or even a goalie) on loan if we don't get a permanent one signed

that would be good, ideally we don't want too many loan players at all unless they are exceptional but I reckon it will be the summer at the earliest (more likely summer 2016) before our own squad has enough quality right through it to be able to achieve that.

Poor 'Sinky'! I'd have gladly been his chum and taken him out to George Street, got him behind the velvet rope with the bucks and blades of fair Edina, pavement jousted with him for the affections of buxom wenches, then, when bailed out of the cells in the old town's High Street, taken him to an early morning tavern, to discuss the carousings and shenanigans of the previous evening! The Hibernian way!

Alas, poor Sinky has sunk.

Thought Jake was a smashing guy, on Saturday after the match he gave the two Hibs kids mascots a pair of his boots each this was a really nice gesture and made the two wee guys really happy, so best of luck to him

All the best to him in his future career.

Some moves don't work out and this was one of them.

It doesn't mean Sinclair's a bad player, he just wasn't the right fit for the team that Stubbs is looking to build.

The Southampton football academy is one of the best in Europe IMO, so it's safe to say he has got ability, but it just didn't work out for him for some reason. All the best to the young guy, hope he gets the opportunity to show what he's got at another club.

The game where he was one of the few who tried to get on the ball but was eventually booted up in the air so much he was subbed.

May or may not make it but enjoyed how he tried to play the game.

Good luck
