Top troubadour and his programme around the last armistice was deeply moving. I have vague recollections of 'Two Little Boys' being sung in the Tynecastle Arms on good nights and always wished it had been taken up as a terrace anthem.

My personal favourite was "my wife was on his Saturday (OK) show in the 80's...how cool is she?" Wonder what he's thinking about now??
