More... (http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/5086)

Following review of the information received from the SFA Compliance Officer, Hibernian Football Club can confirm that the one match suspension offered to Jason Cummings for an alleged breach of Rule 200 has been rejected and that the Club have requested that the matter be referred to The Judicial Panel who will meet at a Principal Hearing on Thursday 8 January.

Good news Hibs.

Good on Hibs.

Hopefully this is another sign of a new approach that the club won't take this sort of thing lying down.

The charge is a nonsense and I hope the club's lawyers go to town with the SFA over this.

Well done Hibs. What's the penalty if they don't overturn this

I suspect that the appeal comes with the chance that the appeal board could increase the suspension if they thought it appropriate. Unlikely, though. Any fees associated with it will be picked up by Hibs if it fails too.

Pretty sure the ban will remain at one match but Hibs will have to stump up the cash for the appeal.

Well done Hibs. Absolutely right. Now watch the "authorities" use this as an excuse to slap us down for not rolling over and taking our punishment and for daring to stand up to them. Shower of fools.

Depends what the SFA disciplinary roulette ball lands on. Anywhere between nothing and 6 month ban.

We aren't appealing anything.. We are merely rejecting the 'offer' of a one match ban! Whether the fine applies to this the same as an appeal or not I'm not sure.

Well done Hibs.

We've been too soft for too long. The suspension is absolute nonsense anyway.

Have any of these charges been overturned since the compliance officer started?

At long last this club seems to be standing up for itself and not being an absolute pushover. Well done whoever it was at the club that took this decision. LD presumably?

Not only good we are rejecting the offer but good to see Hibs making a statement letting us know

A wee improvement in communication
