Is there actually a rule that kicking the ball away is a booking? Isn't it only if it's deemed as dissent or time-wasting that it merits a caution?

Rules seem to change by the game/ref. Cunmings gave the same sign when he scored against Rangers and wasnt booked

Surely only a matter of time before Chris Commons scores.

Kris Commons is booked for an ugly challenge on Jamie Hamill.

It was a cracker by the way.

I was up off my seat applauding it before Hamill even hit the deck.

I personally didn't think there was anything wrong with it. :greengrin

Was worried the game would be one-sided when Liverpool scored, but this is threatening to be a great cup tie (he says, no doubt applying the kiss of death).

It's a good game. Wimbledon have Liverpool sussed at the minute. Just lump the ball up the park, and work from there. Can see them scoring again actually!

Not for me, keeper needs to come for that ball with more conviction and at least make contact with it.

Yes keeper has to be stronger , but think the player is stopping the goalie from getting the ball

Next season? Have you watched them this season?
Absolutely pony.

Imagine paying EPL admission prices to "support" these overpaid phannies.
I'd rather watch AFC Wimbledon every week.

They're not great just now but they'll be even worse next season without King Stevie G.

I'm predicting bottom half next season.

Hearts could have 2 stars for league titles blown on the final day or 4 for every 100 000 fans.

Kilmarnocks star is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their last and only top flight league win. Not sure who they pipped on the final day.....

I would have thought they would have eight stars above their badge to symbolise how many times they've won the Scottish Cup and celebrate the special relationship they have with that particular trophy.

Could be a while before they add a ninth star right enough, considering their recent record.

I think stars should be banned unless they represent winning one of the European trophies, and they should be graded gold for European Cup/Chams lge, silver for UEFA Cup/Europa League and bronze for Cup Winners Cup (no star for Super Cup, Aberdeen, you saddoes). I think you should be banned from European competition if you have a star for anything else.

Er, sorry, great game, hard luck the Dons.

He did the finger over the mouth shush gesture against both but at the weekend he topped it off with a GIRUY too. Pretty obvious booking but enjoyable nonetheless.

Thought the ref was decent at the weekend other than his lenient view of Gomis.
