First time I've seen three darts fall out the board hitting a 180, but he handled it well. :aok:

I saw the match from 3-3 onwards and Anderson deserved it.

I thought he was going to lose the plot after all his darts fell out the board! I don't watch a massive amount of darts but I've never seen all three darts fall out like that before.

Very unusual.

He composed himself though and did so well to get over the line.

Especially when he was visibly angry when Barney did the same kind of thing a few years ago, very poor show from a 16 times champion who you would think would have much more respect..and not to throw the darts down for 0 when THAT happened just makes the point even more....Some cynics would say, that after each of the games Taylor is involved in he signs all the boards and obviously gets paid handsomely from the manufacturer...was the board designed for his understacker type of dart....awful lot of Hibee Gary's falling out....well done for not complaining and stuffing him anyway Gary :flag::flag: :agree:

I just watched some of the highlights earlier and one of the matches that was on featured two players who were regularly taking at least 18 darts just to get on a finish.

If they're going to televise this event, it really shouldn't be on a couple of days after the PDC one as it's pretty poor to say the least.

Tbf the men's final in bdo was crap but the ladies final was a cracking match, outstanding quality also.

I actually thought the men's final was alright.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't up to the standard of the previous week between Anderson and Taylor but it was at least watchable.

The standard in some of the earlier rounds was frightening.

Another win for Anderson v Bunting last night keeps him on track for Finals night, I thought he was struggling to keep up with the pace of Bunting but, a couple of big treble figure check-outs made all the difference. :flag:

Lost 7-5 after leading 4-0 and when Van Barneveld went to shake his hand at the end of the match, Anderson pointed at him quite aggressively before storming past him and then walking off the stage.

Apparently Anderson was upset because he felt that Van Barneveld was walking too close to him when he walked back to the back of the stage and past Anderson, just as he was about to throw his darts and therefore putting him off. Van Barneveld was fuming afterwards when he was being interviewed. He stormed off after a few questions and suggested that he was going after Anderson to have it out with him because he was angry that Anderson appeared to be accusing him of gamesmanship.

Anderson beats Taylor 7-5 to confirm his place in the top 4 leaving Taylor out of the top 4 for the first time in its 11 year history


Incidentally Anderson has beaten Taylor in his last 4 televised meetings!

In the earlier rounds Snakebite carried Gary along but in the final last night he was like a rabbit in the headlights.

Hate GA love in with the bad losser Taylor. Does ma heid in.

Anderson loses to Taylor in a last leg decider which he threw first in in the semi in Yokohama. Anderson managed to check out on 87 when he only had 83 left in an earlier leg then Taylor went on to win the leg which was probably the turning point in the match.

Taylor beat Wright in the final 8-7 after Wright fought back from 7-2 down to take the match to a last leg decider.
