Was just having a little think, and was wondering how many players since 2000 have managed 100+ games for Hibs?

And is there anyone else of recent note to score over 100 for us besides Riordan? :flag:

Quite a few with over 100 appearances, but no-one apart from Riordan with 100 goals.

Malonga has the best goals to game ratio . Its a fine list . Wee Latapy with a goal every odd 3rd game.

He scored 71 goals in over 200 appearances - who was he. That's as good as latapy(1 in 3)but never gets the same credit - and he played through one of our poorer spells. Sorry getting a bit nostalgic now for someone who was one of my hibs heroes.

Ally MacLeod (one of my boyhood heroes) scored 71 league goals in 200 starts and 99 goals in 267 starts in all competitions .

Did it include one from the half way line against Dunfermline at Easter Road about 1967/1968?

I reckon Iwasthere has someone else in mind, the other Ally MacLeod left Hibs in 62.

I had Peter Cormack in mind. Think he scored about 70 goals in about 200 appearances.

Harsh!! Never the most athletic but definitely on of the most skillful Hibs players I've seen in my 40 years of going to ER

Another very good player who just fell short of the magic 100 goals

"Fat Ally" was more or less a term of endearment when he was with us.

Definitely was a great player for Hibs. Scored the best goal I have seen for Hibs in a match v Dundee with a twice taken free kick.

It's pretty cr@p to think we may never have another 100 plus goals player given the speed people move on these days. If they are prolific they move on,if they are not (say 15 goals a season) we hound them out :stirrer: or refuse to pay the £150K....

The amount of appearances Stevensons made over the years is astonishing. If only he can find those shooting boots he'll fly up the goals to games ratio chart.

Hanlon has 170 odd appearances (according to Wikipedia), Garry O'Connor, Riordan, Broony, Nick Colgan are some...

There are a few others too. Found this on Wikipedia, this should answer your question....

Definitely Ally Mcleod. Apart from wee Russell Ally had the best first touch I have ever seen at Easter Road including George Best.

Who scored 28 goals in 46 games for us in their 1st season. Best finisher I have ever seen at hibs until the other half of the strike partnership was sold. He then only managed 4 goals out of 28 starts.

28 out of 46. There can't be many who have had that high a goals per game in one season for hibs.

Thanks for the kind words on the thread about the site - Thomas is the other stalwart who keeps the site going. We've just completed putting every current scottish league teams results on, and there is nearly complete line ups and goalscorers for Celtic since 1888, Rangers 1872-2012 and The Rangers 2012 onwards.

Hopefully we might find time this year to add a few improvements, and feel free to email or ask on here if there's anything anyone is looking for - there is pretty much some kind of info there for every competitive game (over 5000) and every player who has played a competitive games (over 1000) and the site has been running for about five years now. If you forget it's linked from the title bar above.

Every christmas/new year I seem to be bombarded with genealogy requests which brings home what a fantastic resource we've (along with help from many other hibs and non hibs fans) created
