My missus ( somewhat legitimately) is a bit peeved were having to drive the 894km from Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands to Wellington in one day to allow me to watch the Derby on TV tonight. How far is everyone else going..?

894km to watch hibs...that's nuts!! I'm driving round to my mate's house to watch it - about 6 miles there and back - and even that is an effort for me to be bothered.

I should add, we live in Wellington, we're returning from holiday, only early and in a rush, rather than a slow meandering drive with winery stop off's.

How is it "nonsense" that a good Hibby, who lives on the other side of the world, is willing to travel as far as he is to watch the Hibs game?

I won't even travel one nanometer. The game is live on FSP at 4.15AM and I'll wake up just in time to click the remote and turn on the bedroom tv. TiVo is recording it in the unlikely event that I sleep beyond kickoff.

Let's beat the clarty poppy thieves.

Bangor, Northern Ireland. Heading into town in time to watch the game in the rose and chandler, a pub I watched the 1-1 derby 2 seasons ago in. Fair to say that most of the guys in that pub don't exactly hold much love for hibs but the barman was happy to put the game on for me and it's on again today

Furthest I've done for a game was Falkland Islands to watch Hibs v Dunfermline (0-0). Used to travel up most weekends from Portsmouth to watch Hibs.

However to travel that distance to watch game on TV, you have my upmost respect. As for your dear lady, tell her from me It's Hibs, enough said.

That's a fair treck WellingtonHibby, but one that is going to be worth it, as we give the Jamgrubs a good seeing to on their own pitch.

I will be watching the game from Dunedin (New Zealand). Which is home now. Just started on the beers. Hopefully more celebrations, like the Rangers game, in the middle of the night. We have had our share of bad times recently, but we are on the way back. The boys played a blinder!

Just named our new cat 'Alan', great name! Hope you had a safe trip home WellingtonHibby. If you are lucky enough to go to the game today. Shout and sing loudly for all the Hibs fans that can't be there.

I didn't realise there were other hibbys in Musselburgh - in the 4 years I've lived here, I've only ever experienced the brain dead morons who follow hearts. Worst place for that is Sportsmans, which I thought was owned by a hibby!!

Oh dunedin is lovely. Excellent whisky bar down there too! I get down there a bit, and a few of the hibs his are down there regularly. You can see the Edinburgh influence in the street names eh? First thing I did was get a photo by the " water of leith "! Enjoy the game, if you're ever up this way, give us a shout for a beer

Indeed. And next time you are in Dunedin give me a pm. I hope you have few beers after the long drive. There are a few Hibs fans have met in Dunedin. Never met a Hearts fan yet I my 20 years here! Get into them, don't hold back.

They know who is coming for a visit, and it is a proper football club, unlike the Fungers.
