I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to lose a bit weight. Great bunch of guys and you get to do circuit training at the side of the pitch. We also got to take part in half time challenge.

Annoying being 2 inches to short round the waist!! Doesn't really help us top heavy guys as that's the motivation I'd be needing!

Did it last year and found it worthwhile. Great bunch of guys.

Learnt a lot about healthy living but have let it slip again.

Might go back if they will have me.

The course involves a lot of education as well as training. There was a few on my course who were well under 38 waist. It would be worth getting in touch.

I'm about a 28 waist but would love to go to something like this :(

I'm still unfit!

I'm 27, I wish they'd lower the age to take part as I'd definitely be interested!

For anybody who is interested but doesn't meet the criteria it is probably worthwhile contacting the community foundation anyway. They run a Healthy Hibee course which is very similar but is open to everyone. Not sure when the next intake is but it's worth a wee email.

Guys - this course is really tremendous.

I joined up, lost just over 1 stone and 5" off my waist. After the 12 week session you can join an ongoing training and educational course on a Tuesday night training in the stadium and use the first team changing room!

I've managed to keep the weight off and will, hopefully, lose more as there are always challenges to accept. Before the final home game last season I managed to run a total of 3 miles round the pitch - this year I'm looking to do 10. Before I started I got out of breath just tying my shoe laces!

If I had not gone along to this I'd be jumbo sized now.

The Healthy Hibbie course is open to both men and women.

Looks like it, - from the official site - "Designed specifically for male fans, FFIT is a 12 week plan"

Have email'd for further info as I'm interested and fit the criteria.

Anyone any idea of cost and when the sessions would be?

Don't think there is any cost to the individual, looks like its being funded by the SPFL trust.

I'm doing the healthy hibee course just now - 2 weeks to go and starting back 5th January. Not ideal after the amount I've ate over the last couple of weeks!

Really good, informative and fun.

I live too far away to join up as I could do with losing a few pounds and getting physically fitter.

However, the state of my mental health has improved over recent weeks. :smug:

Thank you Hibees
