Aliens.

:agree: They're testing the crop before the harvest.

In reality this must be a nightmare for the families, a living nightmare.

The same area where the Malaysian flight disappeared from radar. we'll be inundated with conspiracy theories no doubt.

Truly horrible time for the families and it will be a miracle if any passengers or crew are found alive.

Lot of reports saying they think plane may have stalled and fallen from the sky.

They certainly seem to have a clearer idea of what happened in comparison to MH370. Just hope they can find it soon.

I thought that it was the exact area at first but it's not.

MH370 disappeared way north east of Singapore, whereas this one was en route to Singapore and disappeared to the South.

Not that far away mind, but over different seas.

The pilot asked for permission to change flight route because the plane was heading into bad storm.
Permission apparently refused because of other air traffic in area, according to news report.

My bad. I thought that they lost contact with the other plan north of Indonesia

The other plane was close to Vietnam when contact was lost I think.

Potential debris spotted by a search plane. I remember there was a few false alarms in the immediate aftermath of the MH370 incident though, could be the same here.

Malcolm Gladwell wrote about the super high incidence of aircraft losses in this aprt of the world a number of years back. They keep on happening.

Debris and bodies found in the ocean.

It's near the tropical convergence zone isn't it? Always hairy for flights, with the global weather changing so rapidly it doesn't surprisedme that air travel is affected in such a way.
