Had a mad dream last night in which I was playing for Scotland against Germany. Our goalie was due to be the guy who played in goal for my old school team, but he got injured and was replaced by David De Gea. We lost 6-3, I scored but was criticized by teammates for my wayward passing and was described as the worst international footballer in the UK by a journalist who I then punched. On the team bus we passed De Gea dancing arm in arm with the German goalie on the roof of a bus shelter.
The best thing is how it all made sense at the time. If Sigmund Freud is online, I'd be happy to hear your thoughts.
I remember a good yin a few years back in which I scored for Hibs in 1-1 draw with Dundee United at ER. The stadium was surrounded by really tall trees, but again it all made perfect sense at the time.
Anyone else prone to football dreams?
