I seem to remember there being a bit of a fuss about him when he first broke through. Would I be right in saying Levein tried to poach him for the Scotland national team but he chose USA instead?

Says on his wiki page levein was told to scout him and see if he wanted to play for Scotland in the future. Hasn't played full squad yet.

Looks as though he's failed to impress them but the divistion we're in at the moment is a million miles away from the Football leauge championship.

He may play tomorrow as a trialist in the Under 20 Friendly at Ainslie Park against Dunfermline, KO 2:30pm

Apparently he was always scheduled to train with them for a week then us for a week so not necessarily the case that he hasn't impressed. Interesting to see how he gets on
