Ruins our chances of signing him. Hero to Celtic fans now.

Very decent gesture from LG. I wonder if it'll be plastered all over the papers like some other situations he's been involved in?

Meh beat me to it! :-)

I've always said Leigh is essentially a decent guy who does some daft things.

Good gesture from him.

They're more likely to loan him to Der Hun than us.

Riordan quizzed by Scottish Police.

Riordan who was seen in a car 20 miles from the incident carrying Xmas presents in a retail park, he was quizzed after he was seen by several shoppers putting presents in to the boot of a car in the car park.

A Police source (may have been Santa himself) said Derek was seen in the car park with a female and two young children as they loaded presents in to the car, Scottish Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Griffiths will also be questioned, (from a source who doesn't want to be named) the source said " he read on Facebook that Griffiths was trying to sell the presents back to the person who had there house broken in to, Police have still to question Griffiths and are appealing for witnesses.

Fantastic gesture by Leigh. For someone that is regularly in the press for the wrong reasons, this side of him should also be highlighted. He put all rivalry as side in order to try and save a little boy from having his christmas ruined.

Fantastic Sparky, a touch of class

Did I read that right - security guard leaves door unlocked as he retires for the evening?
Doesnt mean he deserved to get burgled but wow!

Awck ignore them, they wouldn't know a kind, charitbale gesture if it bit them in the arse! The only thing they know about charity is stealing from them.

Once again, well done done Leigh, the jambos can put whatever negative spin on it they like but it clearly was just a genuinely kind offer.

People make do things like that all the time without thinking, thankfully most times it doesn't result in anything bad, but unfortunately this time there was some opportunist low life around that took advantage.

Most on the thread are ok but some reassure me that my reason to hate the thieving hypocrites is still valid.
