Is this likely to be just 1 ticket per season ticket or 2?

We will get the usual 900 tickets.

It will be one per season ticket holder. This is where a loyalty point system would work well......... Over to you Hibs.

The Rangers won't sell out though. The yams took 1200 or so through to the first league game and they moved the "segregation" line into the Broomloan. I'm assuming they will do the same for us as can see us taking a couple of thousand through for this one.

Hearts got 1100, they retaliated by only giving Rangers 1100. We can't do that because if we wanted more than the 900 we wouldn't sell them all but we still have to pay for the unsold tickets.

Think about it. Failed to sell 800 at Dumbarton, failed to sell 1800 at falkirk, failed to sell 2000 at Alloa, failed to sell initial allocation of 1400 for raith rovers. Friday night live on tv in Glasgow, no way we will take a few thousand fans through.

Considering the number attending Ibrox these days, dunno why they don't just revert to the 1980s style of just splitting the Broomloan Stand straight down the middle. They could still have a whole section in the top and bottom tiers for segration.

....... if we wanted more than the 900 we wouldn't sell them all but we still have to pay for the unsold tickets. .......

Are you sure?

I don't think it works like that at any of our other away games.

If we order more tickets from Rangers then don't sell them we have to pay for them as Rangers can't resell them.

We got 1100 for that challenge cup and sold out.

Got 900 for the Monday and wasn't far from a sellout.

We'll get the 1100 section. Rangers don't appear to be in a position to turn down money...

Rangers can't sell them anyway looking at recent attendances.

Time will tell. IMO we'll easily sell 1,100 and probably would a fair bit more, especially with novelty of being a Friday night and it probably being a key game in terms of playoff / 2nd place.

I honestly didn't think they still did that.

It maybe made sense when they were getting full houses every week but not now. If Hibs did return some tickets, it's not like they've deprived any The Rangers Fans of buying them, so they're club wouldn't lose out anyway.

They wouldnt be be returned until the afternoon/evening off the game. They then have to sort out the segregation issues plus the police have a say in this. They can opt to limit the away allocation.

The Gallowgate bar just round the corner from the indoor market, its owned by a smellie but that sort of guarantee's no huns in it.

Watched a few Hibs games in there and its ok.

The ibrox bar.

This is an option but I think I might be better looking for a neutral venue though as I couldn't keep schtum. Thanks for the other suggestions guys, I don't know how to do multiple quote replies.

Agreed, decent bar & owner knew we were Hibees before we ordered our round, pulled big screen down after 1am as license dictated.
Can get a good lucky 15 on as well if required (wink)

If we can continue our fine form this is a game that could see a real ticket scramble. No chance of much in the way of increased allocation from Rangers I doubt. I'll be one anyway who will be involved in that scramble.

If the two clubs keep moving in their current directions, I can see Sevco telling Hibs that we can have as many seats as we want.

They'll be lucky if they need two full stands open for this game, on current form. :greengrin

If we ask for the whole broomloan we won't sell 5000, and if we don't sell them we have to pay for them. Hibs will play it safe and take the usual 8/900. I'll say it again a loyalty point system would be the way to deal with selling tickets for big games like this! Reward the loyal fans I say.

Mind the game is live on TV.

Is there no way of getting a happy medium between 900 and 5000?

I don't think we would sell the whole Broomloan Stand but if we keep improving and go into this match above them, I think we could easily shift 2000+.

I don't think that stand can be split in two. Anyway the games ages away. We might not be playing as well then.
