No idea who he is either but read his career there on twitter. Sucess in Ireland, a lot of scouting done and has european CL experience.

Nice to to see a new face in scottish football

Not nearly as experienced. Great man manager, brilliant with the press and tries to have his team play good attractive football. No doubting his record at Rovers, but his success dwindled the more he built his own team. Was sacked by Rovers after leaving them in a position where they couldn't challenge in the league and were out of the FAI Cup. He won all the domestic trophies bar the League Cup and I think he'll be a success at SPL level.

Why do you think he'll be a success when you say things went wrong when he started building his own team?

Sligo's scouting system probably isn't as impressive as Motherwell's. I'd also imagine that while they may have financial problems, their budget is probably bigger than Sligo's as well. His big downfall was not neccesarily the players he brought in, but the ones he let go.

I know you said the same about Pat Fenlon and I'm sure you would have said the same about Stephen Kenny. Remains to be seen about this chap but if it was us I would be worried

Barra is not nearly as succesful as Felon, but has the added bonus of having managed in the English 2nd Tier (he was sacked before his S****horpe team were relegated, however). It'll be interesting to see how he does.
