A couple of years ago, I read Jimmy Page being interviewed in Mojo. He basically accused Jack White of ripping off Led Zep. How I laughed when I considered the number of songs his band claim to have written.

I thought - "nah you didn't write them, they were just traditional tunes that you put your names to".

Then I heard about Dazed and Confused, a song written by a guy called Jake Holmes, and learned by Page when Holmes supported the Yardbirds. A song written less than five years before Led Zep took the credit.

I'm sure the list goes on. I think stealing somebody's song is like stealing their children - Led Zep should be ashamed of themselves.
