Why is there no pay at the gate option? Makes no sense at all IMO.

Stupid decision.

Agree lets not allow fans who maybe decide on the day they want to go to the game. Cant believe for one minute that it will be a sell out. Seems very odd given the nature of the game.

Be great if tickets could be available tomorrow morning, if not then cash gate to get into Falkirk parts of the ground?

Keen to go now but don't know if I can get tickets tomorrow morning... Website allowed me to buy online but unsure if I can pick up. Surely should have been a cash gate...

Ticket office will be open in the morning. No cash gates though.

Anyone heard anything about the m8 being shut/gridlock? Was planning on going out towards newbridge to get there but I'm presuming the traffic will be horrendous out that way if the M8 really is a disaster.

:agree:

The stadium has a capacity of just over 8,000. I'd be amazed if there were even 4,000 in the ground, so I can't see any reason not to have PATG.

I really don't get this sudden change to having practically every match ticket only.

There's a problem near the start of the M8 that tails back to Newbridge. Once your past Newbridge, it's apparently OK all along the M9.

(got the info from somebody that just drove along there ;-) )

For anybody interested, you can check for current traffic on Google Maps. It's generally quite accurate.

Here's a wee screenshot I just took.

A man has died in a collision on the M8 motorway on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

The man is thought to have been a pedestrian. Two cars were involved in the incident at about 06:15, between the Hermiston and Gogar junctions.

The motorway has been closed to allow for investigation work.

The traffic at the end of the bypass is very busy just now - diversion is along the a8 towards newbridge.

Give yourself an extra 15-30 mins

Just took nearly 30'mins to travel from gogar to newbridge. Clear after that. Would advise leaving plenty time to get to game

Here in Peebles , a decision yesterday to travel to the game would mean a substantial detour via Easter Road to collect a ticket . If there was a huge demand I could see the point but Falkirk have shot themselves in the foot with this one.

They usually have booths outside the ground don't they?
