Scotsman reporting he's here on trial this week.

Woud be nice if we could have a permanent signing. I'm not convinced a Loan Signing is exactly ideal for a Goalie.

Anybody know anything about this guy?

Putting sandbags in the goal would work well but I'm not sure it's permitted.

Sounds like this means Oxley's back to Hull in Jan.

Or they are being diligent that Hull might say no to an extension, Oxley says no to an extension or even forward planning for next season.

Or Stubbs feels there are better goalkeepers than Oxley available.

According to Wiki 25yo 6'3" made 43 appearances for IFK Gothenburg 1st team and an ex Sweden U21 international. Could be decent pedigree

I wonder if it would be a permanent signing or another loan ?

Contract is ending at the end of current swedish season apparently.

Think their league season may be finished now?

They are in the middle of the close season (the season runs from March-November), so Im guessing it will be the end of next season his contract is up, especially if he is here with his clubs permission!

Yeah was just looking at that. Must be a loan then.

I was under the impression that contracts expire on the 31st of December in their league. Could be wrong, but that would mean he is under contract for 1 more month.

Sounds good. Reasonable experience, good pedigree, good age etc

Our last scandanavian Goalie was decent. Fingers crossed. Well maybe not the last one but fingers crossed in any case.

My mate in Sweden says he's a decent steady keeper who would be a good signing, he's only second choice as other keeper at Gothenburg is one of best in country. Sounds promising enough !

I've seen him play. He was alright, big & quite solid but a tad slow to get down for the ball. Did make a good save in tipping the ball over the top post. And a big shouter!!! (In Swedish though)

The two Nordic keepers we had prior to him were nothing to write home about, however.

Yep, I'm glad we are looking at other options in that department, although I thought the young lad did fine when Oxley was out. Oxley's alright, no more than that, but that's just my opinion.

I think oxley is a good keeper and has done a good job since singing but hasn't looked the same since back from injury!

At Dumbarton he looked slow going down and didn't command his area and less said the better about Alloa goal. Maybe he isn't over the injury...

Hibs signing a Swede, that would be a turnip for the books!

Sand mountains would be even better, though sadly probably even more illegal.

Although we once allowed a "Simon Brown" creature to play in goals, so who knows...................
