What's Happened To The Advent Calender Thread

Only joined last November but seem to recall a Thread by Spike I think it may have been ,with a picture each day in December appearing leading up to X mass Day .Enjoyed it and assumed it would be Annual Event

I find that type of thread to be very dated.
