That will do. Shame about the injury and the red card, but we're through and the unbeaten run continues. Good stuff.

If that's right, what an idiotic thing to do!

If he's done that presumably he's been provoked one way or another. A suspension we could really do without in any case.

You've got to ask why he would do this. What a nightmare..

I imagine it wont have been unprovoked, but he still shouldnt be lifting his hands to the opposition. 4 minutes before the end of the game and we are now looking at him being missing for a few games. Ultimately we are the only ones who suffer from it!

It wouldn't be a Hibs match if they didn't make us sweat at some point! Delighted to get through, and by the sounds of it we played some decent stuff. Good times.

I know this isn't going to be a popular opinion, I really don't like Malonga. I just can't take to him at all. Don't get me wrong I am pleased we have him, he's a good striker and we've not had too many of them kicking around East Mains recently. But there is something about him that irks me.

Malonga presumably didn't throw a punch just for the sheer hell of it? I would hazard a guess one of his opponents said something to him.

Bad news that Liam Craig has got an injury. From what I've heard he scored with a good free kick. There always seems to be something to take the shine off whenever we get a good result.

Great result. Outstanding 1st half, 2nd half was a bit of a slog and going 1 up top for the last 15/20 minutes was a strange decision imo.

Allan strolled it, best player in the league by a distance. Handling and Craig not far behind him today, both much maligned, both turned in really good performances today.

:agree: All clubs get injuries and bad luck, but Hibs just seem to get more than our fair share of both, and just when we can least afford it due the lack of strength in depth in the squad.

I'm hearing Craig's injury may be a hamstring. Does anyone know if these types of injuries are more likely to happen on plastic pitches? Thats El Alagui and now Craig picked up injuries at Alloa.

Yes stupid, but in the heat of the moment it's always likely to happen. We're all human.

Cameras are absolutely everywhere these days. Players have realised they cant (and generally dont) get involved in such incidents. Stubbs suggested Malonga may have been provoked, but I still think he needs to keep his head as ultimately, hes the one thats been sent off!

We are having to deal with enough injuries without having to deal with unnecessary suspensions (provoked or not).

Bbc Scotland sport on radio and tv gets more amateurish every day. It's pathetic how they peddle the wonderful comeback of the pbs mob totally ignoring their behaviour in the last few years and then have a go at a club run fairly and properly. Past the point of being bothered about it but it's shameful our national broadcaster peddles the rubbish they do.

I don't why it is, but almost every time there is a match on, someone likes to imply that the 'guests' are all Yams.

Can't you no get it into your head, that not every member of Hibs.net automatically logs in to see what is going on. I only log in when I have something to say.

Right now there are 80 members logged in and 220 'guests'. Do you honestly believe that there are more Yams wanting to read Hibs.net than Hibs fans at this very moment in time.

Edit: 71 members and 222 'guests', soon to be 70 members. Oh no, we're being overrun by 'guests'!!!

:dunno:

I still think he is. But he's having a decent run of form.

Guests are usually welcome. But these ones are most certainly Hearts 'guests' who are usually only welcome in peadophile rings

I never log-in because it only ever shows the last post of a thread on a mobile for some reason. Only way to view a full thread.

Just thought i would mention the great turn out by Hibs supporters who went to the game today to support the team, but that means giving them support, the atmosphere was pretty poor apart from about 20 lads behind the goals trying to get things going which didn't work out.

It would seem we have lost our singing section and drummer which gets the support going.

We need to get behind the team from the off in these games, infact all games. :flag:

Nobody dare start the match thread next week. It's mine.

Drummer was at Dumbarton last week, probably wasn't allowed it in today

I have to agree Silverhibee, the atmosphere was extremely flat today, which given the performance of the team was rather bemusing......

Around me it was full of moaners... Even at FT you would have thought we had lost... Some fans need to have a reality check we r miles better than last season

A lot of supporters, certainly on here, seem to be of the opinion that as long as we're in this division, they'll give us very little credit for anything we achieve. Which isn't really what being a supporter is all about.

We are where we are - and grudging giving the team any credit whatsoever doesn't help our cause very much. I'd kind of hoped that we as a support might have developed a siege mentality this season, but sadly the way we went down and the off field issues still ongoing mean there is still much bad feeling for many.

Nothing surprises me, just found out Susan Boyle has a boyfriend.

I doubt he was attracted by her personality.

I doubt he was attracted by her personality.

Reminds me of a Mrs Merton question to Debbie Magee, wife of Paul Daniels.

"What was it that attracted you to the ageing, balding, multi millionaire comedian Paul Daniels?". :greengrin
