Hearts to lose every single match that they play unless a victory for them directly benefits us in some way.

Oh and both teams to finish six a side and then a further couple of players on each side get injured during the warm down.

Draw with several red cards, oh and ref Craig Thomson to tear both hamstrings whilst missing a blatant Rangers handball in the penalty area. Then compounding his error by awarding an equalising goal to THE Rangers that actually went wide and hit the advertising hoarding behind the goal before entering the goal from behind through a hole in the net. Not asking too much is it.?

I'd like society to win. Unfortunately that's unlikely with the fans from both sides and the fact both clubs have avoided paying for goods, services and taxes like other law abiding clubs/citizens. So in the absence of natural justice I'd like a gas explosion to settle the game....

Never want any of those two to win, add to that they're both well ahead of us on points then the best result for us has to be a draw. Throw in no goals, lots of red cards and a few niggling injuries and I'll consider it a good result.

NORTHERNHIBBY

Hearts to win. Our best chance of going up this season is if they win the league. They are the best team in the league and the best team will win the league. Can't run away from the fact that describing them as bang average says something about us. When May comes, the results could very well show, that being bang average, was what was needed to come out on top.

Always go by what would be in Hibs' best interests. I suppose a draw, with a cluster of red cards, injuries to key players on both sides and massive crowd trouble would be acceptable. But that would mean neither set of bigots would be miserable at the end so I might reluctantly go for a scrappy 1 goal win for the big Huns.

FranckSuzy

Hearts winning 1-0 at 86 mins then there's a floodlight failure. No repair possible (obviously), so the game's called off, then rescheduled after the New Year when the Hibees have made up some of the deficit. Plus, bans and injuries for both sides, meaning each is weakened to face us on 27/12 and 3/1. That'll do me :agree:

I despise both clubs and large elements of their supports.

I think it will be a draw. Thomson will ensure his club don't lose. It should be interesting to see if he emerges without any controversial decision(s) in their favour again today.

However, having said that, I would love to see the smug looks wiped off the Yaks fans faces, and stop the Yaks love-in going on in the media at the moment, if the newco were to win today.

Whatever happens, it goes without saying, Hibs need to take all 3 points today.

No doubt a fair chunk of that money will be earmarked for squaring up with the countless organisations they stiffed. :cb

Assuming they win promotion that is. Or have they already assumed that promotion is assured?

When will they ever learn? I would have thought a club that has experienced an "Albert Kidd moment" would know better by now.

It's not that difficult to land on your feet in Scottish Football plus most of those youngsters had a season under their belt and came down in good form after finishing on a good run last season.. Leeds and Portsmouth have better opposition around them. At least we can all still laugh at Rangers. I think they are where they are because they have an inept manager and backroom staff. As for us, it was always going to be asking too much coming out the rut we found ourselves in last season. We have improved over the last few games and had we began like that, we would be up with Rangers.

So, Thomson (former Gorgie ST holder and famous Hearts Fan) Refs the Hearts game and sends off one Rangers player after 25 minutes then gives them a dubious penalty award to top it all off.

Predictable outcome.

They would need to have a massive breakdown to lose the lead that they've got just now.

Sevco are likely to drop even more points and I can't see Hearts losing a 9 points advantage between now and the end of the season.

It was never in doubt after Craig Thomson was appointed as the referee.

After ensuring Hearts win he didn't send off Miller and Boyd, who definitely both should have gone.

Hearts to win. Our best chance of going up this season is if they win the league. They are the best team in the league and the best team will win the league. Can't run away from the fact that describing them as bang average says something about us. When May comes, the results could very well show, that being bang average, was what was needed to come out on top.

Bang average for me. Leagues arent won in November. Lets see where they are when they lose a couple or dont have their 12th man reffing the game.

People keep saying this ,but while I do think they will drop points at some point they don't look like a team that is going to suddenly go on a losing streak Thier confidence is up and winning week in week out breeds that .
They have the luxury of knowing they can afford a few draws and still be top .Whether The Rangers change Manager ,i don't know financially if they are in position to do that .
They also seem to be able to cope with a few players missing and that's before they strengthen in January .
A bad winter may lead to them dropping more points but think we are clutching at straws.

We now know we will be third so we need to prepare properly for play offs when that time comes and hope we have our best team injury and suspension free ,and key players on form

I factored Home form into my prediction as it's been so poor for so long .I thought by now we would have sorted that and if Malonga hadn't been away maybe we would of bear Queen of the South but there have been a few home games where he hasn't been at his best .But it's got to start turning at some point ,so here s hoping its soon
