I could be totally seeing something that isn't there but I took it as a pretty clear jibe at our dear neighbours and their somewhat sketchy record of paying up when it comes to charity.

I agree with what you write although I don't understand the earlier comments on why we feel the need to congratulate ourselves for standing quietly. I would feel ashamed if this wasn't the case.

It shouldn't normally be worthy of comment but Fans of some Clubs have a bit of history with ruining a Minute's Silence (Celtc & Hearts come to mind).

I was at Tower of London and the Cenotaph on Tuesday and that was so special. Mixed with the fact that I know a guy in the Sainsbury advert and then the piper at ER. It's been an emotional ride the last few weeks, as I also found out that my wifes great grandad was killed in action in Egypt..........

I agree, what a world we live in when we count staying silent on such an occasion as an achievement.

It's ashamed in Scottish football we have a team that act in such a vile way during the silence that we now feel the need to congratulate our own fans on staying silent. It shouldn't be a hard thing to do. Be respectful that's all you need to do.
