Wow!

The Feelgood factor must be back. Now if we could just score and get a home win..........

QOTS brought a decent support, I thought at first they were the forces folk. When they started clapping and cheering QOTS I thought that's a bit much after us giving them free tickets!

Doh!

How many free tickets did we give out today and was it a Hibs kid day as well.

Atmosphere was poor in the ground.

Thought maybe about 800 QOS fans at a guess. Well done to them. :aok:

Decent support from QoS. Only freebies were the easterly side of the South Stand. Credit to 'Section' for keeping going during the game or it would have been virtually silent. Watched the game from FF Upper as I had my Mrs and lad with me but I don't think they'll be raving about the ER atmosphere to be honest.

Atmosphere was poor but getting over 10k was decent sized crowd & a good following from QOS.

Nice to meet you & the family Lancashire Hibby at Waverley, there was more atmosphere on our train back to Newcastle than this afternoon courtesy of 4 females who'd been shopping and had drink to spare:thumbsup:

I agree regarding atmosphere was flat yesterday.

We had a below average crowd on the East Lothian Bus yesterday, first time this season we didn't need a 70 seater and can't think why.

It seemed quiet in the top floor of behind the goals as well.

Only one home game against Alloa pre Chrimbo (unless cup replay) and considering we are on decent run I expected a good game and a better atmosphere.

Strange.

And you mate. Glad you had a better journey home than us, Virgin decided we were all getting turfed off at Carlisle and have to wait for another train South!

Could have a point there, also it wasn't a great game and didn't engage the crowd as a result. For a decent sized away support even the QOTS fans were quiet.

Take away around 1200 tickets made up of QOS fans and the free tickets dished to forces and ex forces then you have another poor turnout from us. Half a million folk live in Edinburgh and we can only muster up about 8800 home fans.

If we pick another section of the attendance and deduct them from the total then we could make out there's a crisis.

I think if everyone who'd already bought a season ticket were taken out of the attendance we could have been in the low thousands.

Scary stuff.

:agree: 7k season ticket holders minus the 1200 mentioned previous leaves about 1900 fans who either paid to get in or had a comp ticket etc. Very scary.

1200 away fans? Where about? They had half the bottom tier which holds 1000 and it was about 3/4s full at the most. 750 tops in my opinion.

Yes but things don't look as bad if we bring reality into it.

No, I was including the away fans and free tickets dished out to the ex forces and families. Just a rough estimate as there was 400 tickets to be given away.

The truth of the matter is that almost 9500 Hibs fans were at the game which (in my opinion) is good considering the predicament we are in.

So far this season one of the only positives has been our support. I cannot believe the amount of people on here that criticise it. If all the part timers and supposed fans would get off their erses and come along and support the team instead of moaning then maybe just maybe we can haul ourselves out of this league by the playoffs. There is not one team I fear if we have all our first choice players available.
