Are we allowed to have any good luck this season at all? Hopefully he makes a quick recovery

Hopefully the rest of the guys step up and make sure he isn't missed too much, we have Stanton and Craig to fill in.

He was starting to look the business as well .... what a bummer. That's 3 key players goosed if you count Malonga now and possibly the start of next year too. Are we bloody cursed.

Will be unlikely to see him before Christmas then, then he hs to get match fit again.

When did this happen?

How do you come to that conclusion???

Woe is Hibs, eh? ****ing hell...

Hopefully Stanton can rise to the challenge and get on to a game in McGeouch's absence. That's the silver lining.

How do you come to that conclusion???

Any surgery requires 4 weeks of recovery and rehab.

There are 6 weeks until christmas, therefore 4 plus 2 weeks getting match fit again?

= 6 weeks

I had a skin graft last year and was back at my work in the afternoon.

I had keyhole and recovered in about 4 weeks. So plus time to get fitness up I'd say 6 weeks is realistic

Remember he is a professional footballer so will have the best treatment and physio to recover.this could speed up his come back

I posted on a previous thread that injuries can wreck a club's season. That's Farid, Jordon Forster, and McGeoch all suffered bad injuries & all first team players. Malonga away too (albeit possibly just for one game).

Just when the team starts to look like it's beginning to click, s*** happens. No luck at all. We are due a break.

Hope Dylan (and the other guys) recover soon.

Absolutely gutted at this news. Dylan has been a breath of fresh air and is the type of player Hibs have been missing for a long time. Get well soon son, you WILL be missed.

Until we know the full details of his op then no one will know exactly how long the lad will be out for. Could be 6 weeks, could be less. Agree that he has been a revelation though..... How we could have done with him last season eh?!

Didn't see the cowdenbeath game but Liam Craig was good against Dundee utd.

He's more than good enough to play well against the likes of qots, hopefully now there's less pressure on him he can relax and get back to the form he showed with st Johnstone.

Wrong !!!!!

Would you care to enlighten me then?

You want to tone down the aggression in your posting, I'm only giving a professional opinion.

Even if its keyhole surgery?

I suppose it varies.

Most surgery even keyhole requires you to go down deep and that's where the problem arises.

I had it on my knee and was back playing rugby in seven weeks.

The key aspect was I wasn't allowed to do much for almost two weeks following op.

Like I said I suppose it depends on the injury but I wouldn't hold my breath. Wish him all the best, crap luck for us!
