Fontaine replacing Booth if fit. Otherwise same team.

How long is Fontain out for ?
Stubbs said he hoped he would be fit for hearts game ,so unless he is struggling in training then think he will come back in for booth ,but it shows how small the squad is ,and that's why he wanted Quinn in .With three games in a week coming up and one of those being a physical Derby it's going to be hard to negotiate those without someone picking up an injury Wonder if he may be tempted to play a younger team against Dundee United

Think we will go back to a back 3 and played like we did against rangers with Fontaine if fit replacing Handling.

If not, the maybe the same as tonight. Although I would want someone else in for Handling...just my opinion but he is on the cusp of too many games. Granted he scored last night and good goal it was too. But if he is the kind of player who "ghosts" about then that 1 or 2 times he is involved, he has to produce more.

Without Forster might struggle against Sow.
Only change I can see is Fontaine in for Booth if he recovers in time and, of course, there is the goalie situation.
Happy with yesterday's midfield and our dependable full-backs.

I would certainley keep the same shape, thot the midfield diamond worked really well with Handling at the tip and Robertson sitting. Allan and Mcgeough were both terrific.

Back 4 I would keep the same, none of them deserve to be dropped.

The only change I would maybe make is drop Malonga, his goal got him out a massive hole, he was very poor, lost the ball countless times and was very very lazy. You could see a few times Cummings and Allan having a go at him for not running. Who you bring in would be another question all together tho...

If fontain is fit he plays over booth. Done well against a poor strike force but against hearts be a much better strike force. Have they had their player injured before the Derby yet?

Sow off with a tight hamstring today. So he will be doubtful all week but still make it probably.

Same team only if we have to. We played well but Livingston got in behind easily a few times. Booth at CB against Hearts could be a nightmare. Mid to front the same but here's hoping we have fontaine back.

Shows how little depth we have

Same team bar Fontaine in for Booth

Booth struggled in air last night and will not be a good option at CH against them

Really hope Fontaine's fit as Booth did look abit shaky at times and would definitely be abit concerned with him up against the ****bos forwards

I'm concerned about the defense big time. A bit less so if Fontaine comes in, but even still.

Every one of them must have the game of their lives. The huddy Sow needs contained.

Leaves you with no ball winner in the middle of the park. Robertson will play. We need to be good in there against Gomis and Bauben

Only change will be Fontaine for Booth. Not sure why a few fans have selected Kennedey as he's done nothing of note since joining the club that would merit a starting slot.

Did you not watch last weeks game at Livingston, they played a diamond in the mddle with Handling at the top, Robertson sitting deep with Allan and Mcgeouch between and having the 2 WB's bombing on down the flanks.

I've never been a fan of handling as too many games pass him bye, I do think he was good last week but I wouldn't have any hesitation dropping him.

Sorry.

Ha

Handling did well last week but was up against a poor side. He's had a lot more really poor games than he's had good ones so if he does start tomorrow I think there's a bigger chance of him being anonymous than there is him making an impact on the game.

If he does start then fair play, he did well last week so I hope he does it again but my preference would be to have the other three midfielders in and in an attacking sense I think malonga and Cummings would offer a bigger threat.
