I heard that Jordan Forster took a bad injury in training yesterday and will not be fit for a few weeks, with Liam Fontaine also struggling with a thigh strain, who would you play along side Paul Hanlon tomorrow?

Gardiner? Surely a switch to 4-4-2 of that is the case.

Maybe one of the many backroom staff can fill in?

That's hellish if true. Ive always thought David Gray would do a good job in there

Gray is so important to us at RB that I think that would be a mistake. If Fontaine and Forster are injured, Id much rather see a younger guy come in at CB in a back 4 than a complete change of defence (we would end up with Booth, Hanlon, Gray and Stevenson as the back line which looks terrible).

:agree: Put in whoever played right centre back for the 20s with Gray in his normal position.

When we get injuries you are always going to leave yourself short like this when you concentrate on quality over quantity.

But on the positive side, they are quality shortages.

These are the moments the U20s get trained for. If they're not ready to step up in a circumstance like this then whats the point having them?

They have got to look like they have got the potential to step up though no point in just sticking some youngster in there for the sake of it - that would be suicide. I don't watch the 20s so can't comment on anybody who might be ready to take their chance

I'm pretty sure there are almost no teams in Scotland that could lose two first team CHs and not struggle.

Could see us going with Gray, Hanlon, Booth, Stevenson in a flat back 4.

Forster has probably been our best player this season IMO.

What's happening with Paul Quinn?

If he's not going to bring in a youth player then Booth at centre back is the only option I can think of. I'd prefer Gray in there but we've no right back.
