The next 4 league games are key to our season IMO. We have come off the ropes as a result of the win against The Rangers. We now need to start exerting pressure on those teams above us. Will Hibs rise to the occasion or will The Rangers will be a high point in an otherwise depressing season.

Any thoughts?

Our games are:

Raith (H)
Dumbarton (H)
Livi (A)
Hertz (H)

Our neighbours have:

Queens (A)
Alloa (A)
Dumbarton (H)
Hibs (A)

The Rangers have:

Livi (A)
Cowdenbeath (A)
Raith (H)
Dumbarton (A)

10 points minimum is a must

I'm not so sure. We always have predictions of a set of matches that are going to make or break our season but it rarely works out like that.

I'm happy just to glow in the warmth of our last win and look forward to the next match.

Whilst I'm all for what you've written, if we are going to go on a serious run of title/2nd place challenging form, it surely has to be now.

We definitely have the most desirable fixtures out of the 3 of us. You can't complain with 3 at home 1 away. A very very important time indeed in our season. I'm predicting we will do very well and surprise a lot of people. 10 points out of 12.

What might be interesting is that our next 4 games are on grass whereas Hearts next two are on astro. We've obviously not done well on it this season so hopefully same will be true for them?

10 would be good, 12 would be ideal to hopefully close the gap.

All 12 is very do-able. Don't see anything to fear. Will we do it ? Now that's a difficult question, after all, it is Hibs we are talking about here. Personally, think we will win all 4 games.

Given that we also have a League Cup QF a couple of days after the derby, this month really does have the potential to transform the outlook of our season. Personally I'm just hoping we go into the Hearts match a wee bit closer to them than we are now.

This place is a bit too optimistic for my liking. I'd still be very happy with 7 points from next 4, especially if 3 come against Hearts.

I think we need a minimum of 12 points from our next four games to win the division.

Insert wink smiley.

We must use rangers to help us kick on. The season is not going to be anywhere near over if we slip up over the next few weeks, but, I think this is a missive opportunity to gather some momentum. I just hope we take it. Truthfully, I think we will.

12 points is certainly doable. Win the first 3 and they should win the 4th.

The issue is Hibs' home form which is poor. Can 3-5-2 work at home?
