In London tonight for a conference tomorrow. Anywhere likely to be showing the game in South Kensington where I could grab something to eat as well. A friend mentioned Quinn's (?) in Camden but it is a bit of trek from where I'm staying. Can watch it on my Virgin TV Anywhere app as a fall back but I'll be arriving around dinner time so would be handy to tie it in with grabbing some grub.

Your best bet is probably here (Famous Three Kings):

As for London Hibs, I'm not sure what is going on there. Mike has left, and he did all the organising for it. I was led to believe somebody had taken over, but it has went very quiet.

I haven't received an email to say the game is on in Quinns (which was the norm), so don't know if anybody is heading up there. If I don't hear soon, then I'm just going to try and watch in on some stream at home.

The nearest Sports pub to Stoke Newington I know is No1 City Road, the Liverpool Street End of City Road. 020 7065 7177 http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/no-1-sports-bar-london-2

I've only been in there once, it was very quiet.

There are a some Sports Bars in Stokie (Yucatan & Ryans), as well as a number of normal bars that will show football.

I just can't be bothered going there myself (or in the Yucatan's case, I just don't want to go there!!!!) I'd much prefer to go to Quinns.

I know Quinns will show it if asked...but, most importantly, if Vince is around!

I haven't had a drink in that part of the world for years. On a Monday night [rock night] my mates and I used to rotate between the Unicorn [Off Roman Road E3], the Chelsea Drug Store and a long narrow pub, just on the Kingsland Road, [very close to the junction], the name escapes me.

Doubt they do the rock nights anymore, that was back in the mid-seventies :greengrin
