What was the worst ever Hibs strip to wear? For me the Umbro job we had in 1980/81 was pretty itchy.

The 08-09 yellow away kit material was itchy.

2011/2012 strip with two different shades of green and a diagonal stripe.

It was gash.

Who designs these strips? A six year old?

Did it cause any skin irritation?

I don't remember any top that was uncomfortable to wear, but kind of agree with the OP. I used to sook the collar of that strip when I was wearing it (I was wee!) and it would set my teeth off if I did that too long.

Is there a Freudian in the house, or do we have to wait till this is in the Holy Ground before someone can help this guy? :greengrin

Not too keen on this seasons home strip myself.

That was the first Hibs Strip I ever had and I had no problems with it. I wore it to PE Class regularly.

Also, it had no Sponsor's Logo and was much better for it

Is it because its itchy, or because Sparky isn't wearing it?

Did it cause any skin irritation?

Skin was okay. Just irritation watching our guys playing in it. Particularly, dare I say, that visit to Hampden.

I'm guessing that Doddy and Johnnyboys worst strips for wearing were the "Guernsey" jumpers they wore to all the matches in the late 80's. No not 1980's.....1880's. They must have been sweating like pigs during the summer. :greengrin

The 00/01 strip looked brilliant but you lost about a stone just through sweating every time you wore it.

Big Mixu used to look like he had been dunked in a swimming pool after games.

Bukta strip, waffle material, offensive weapon collar. Rubbed yer nipples to a pulp. My first strip and a thing of beauty IMO :greengrin

Mine too, a thing of extreme beauty that was so abrasive that it actually caused your nipples to bleed. Can a football strip actually set the tone of your future sexual experiences?

The campaign noir strip was horrendously itchy

None. Don't own it. Think it's absolutely horrid and doesn't look like a Hibs sgrip, IMO.

This seasons kit is an absolute shocker. Not Hibs at all and can't wait till the white sleeves come back.

The thistle kit.

Truly awful.

That kit pretty much summed up Hibs in a nutshell over the last few years.

Oh a lot of fans are desperate for a purple kit? Here have a washed out lilac instead.

I could not honestly have seen the thread taking such a bizarre twist.

Was it 98 ? Yellow away top that was made of a weird thick material. And the Le Coq Sportif sponsoring on the shoulders would irritate as well.

Loved that top though :greengrin

I thought that strip was one of the smartest we've ever had.

Was about to say this shirt. A stunning shirt to look at but as thick as a wooly jumper.
I remember almost having a whitey in a Uni lecture wearing that shirt after a particularly heavy Wednesday night. So hot.

Supporting hibs is both mentally and physically painful. There's been many nipple munching tops over the years.

Just like watching Brazil when we had that top!
