Slight mistake in article. The HHT have plenty volunteers but are looking to attract people in the early stages of dementia to take part. We have about 9 attending each month but have the facilities to help more.

Anyone who has a friend or relative who would be interested should get in touch. The only stipulation is that we have no transport so those attending have to be able to make their own way to and from the stadium. If they are accompanied, the friends will also be made welcome.

Anyone interested should get in touch first.

This is a worthwhile project which aims to help people affected by dementia.

This is a great cause. The changes in people with this condition is unbelievable and any assistance the sufferer or the people closest to the sufferer can get would be greatly appreciated I'm certain. Well done HHT

Some of the guys that attend have become friends and their confidence has increased to the extent that they have started going to games together for the first time in years.
We have also been contacted by a local private hire firm who have offered to provide some transport free of charge.

Anything that helps people with this terrible and very cruel illness, and their carers, is to be warmly welcomed. Well done all concerned.

Dementia is an illness that's going to place huge strains on the NHS, and society in general, as our population gets older.

Well done to all involved, sounds like a great project.

I chipped in for Choppers programme collection last month and that too was a great idea.

A lot of good being done by sounds of it in various ways, Kicks for Kids another that fills you with pride when reading updates on this site.
