However unsure if Hanlon is fit or Stevenson is still suspended(think he is) if that's the case Forster and booth come in.

Main thing that concerns me is we don't have a centre mid who their main role is defending? All of them there main game is attacking so it would be risky going with my centre mid pairing.

Just a thought what about Forster playing a defensive mid role? I'm not one for playing players out of position but I think he could do it as he is comfortable on the ball, good at defending and is a strong athlete

I'm not exactly convinced by Fontaine although tbf he's only played a couple of games.

As for Stevenson, I'm pretty certain it must be written into the managers contract that Lewis must never,ever be dropped.

He's attacking right mid/striker, I went for him because he is a goal threat and feel his speed and attacking ability gives him the edge over Harris, who if everyone is honest hasn't been great so far this season.

Nish was forsters man in the Dumbarton game and it was nish who created both their goals with headers in the box.

I think you're giving him too much credit for his role in that game.

A lot of people have picked McGeouch and Allan to sit in front of the back 4 in a 4-2-3-1 style, but they're both attack-minded players. I'd have Robertson in there instead, not on form because he's been pretty rank recently but because it suits him more than the other 2.

McGeough is seemingly buzzing in training and may get a start, Sinclair was one of the better players in the last u20 game and Allan has been one of our better performers the past 2-3 games.

Craig yes but I'd play Stevenson in the DM role which would free up the creative players and allow them to push forward but since Craig scored 2 in the bounce game, he will probably play him as he's the captain :confused:

Trying to squeeze in as many attack minded players as possible

maybe should have gone 442 pushing Cummings up beside Malonga and the two of them central mid

McGeogh has said Stubbs intimated he wanted to use him CM and it appears that Stubbs favours the 4-2-3-1 so that was my thinking

Also thinking we shouldn't be getting obsessed with Defensive CMs especially at the level we are playing.

With the players/squad we have we should be able to beat Cowdenbeath no matter who we have on the pitch..... that's not to say that it will happen.

still need to get the right mindset instilled and thats why I would leave out as many of last season's bottlers as possible
