The not so famous 5.

One of the threads on transfer deadline night contained a couple of posts that stated LD (at the supporters meeting) said 5 people were 'out working on deals'.
Given this was after we had secured the 2 loan players, who were these 5 targets (assume LG was one)? Why were none of these targets signed? With the disappointment over the failure to bring LG home, i think the fact that other deals fell through has been lost.
I would like to know why we cannot even manage sign 1 out of 5.
Its a recurring theme. Is it for a recurring reason?
Anyone know any info?

From what I gather we risked everything to get LG and failed to get LG.

We did not have a backup unless it was Sinclair.

I would have been happy with just LG mind you but feel we needed 4 at least on Deadline Day.

Yes it would have been a major coup but once again Hibs FAILED to do something and we are paying for it now by looking around the free agent mega store.
