When I actually look at the players that AS has brought in, I have to admit that most of them are improvements on what they replace. In fact I'm happy with almost all of them:

Oxley - seems decent
David Gray - Has been close to MOM on several occasions
Liam Fontaine - a bit early to tell but good experience and at least built like a defender
Scott Allan - once he's up and properly fit could well be our best player
Farid - was fantastic till injury
Kennedy - exciting and direct
McGeouch and Sinclair - only time will tell but good pedigree and at least players you would expect to get a few punters off their seats.

Of those that are left I'm fairly happy with

Foster
Hanlon
Stanton
Cummings

that leaves

Robertson - seems to struggle after 60 mins. legs have gone ?
Craig - there is a player in there..god knows how we get him out
Handling - I so want him to step up..but don't see it yet
Heffernan - I wish he'd gone to St Johnstone
Harris - the jury is still out
Stevenson - I really like the guy but I can understand that some people feel effort is not enough, would be the last of these I would ask to leave though.

I guess the real problem is that so many players needed to be moved on and so many new ones needed to come in. Since the end of last season I think 14 or 15 have left..that's a lot..but judging by the list above it maybe should have been 20 out and only four or five staying…I'm not actually sure that level of change was possible.
