Looked even better from behind the goals even though we were up the other end of the park. Shame I clapped that strike more than any hibs player today:rolleyes:.

Not much oxley could do about that one

At the match, I accepted that it was just a great free kick but check out the still on the BBC match report and the so called "wall" and Oxley's position. Maybe the camera has distorted it a bit, but it doesn't look too clever.

Totally disagree, from that video he gets beat at his side which should never happen

Agreed.

The ball was past him in just over a second.

A free kick right in the middle like that is very hard to set up a wall and for a keeper to get his position. He'll be disappointed to let one in on his side but he had almost no time to react. Sometimes you just have to accept a player has scored a great goal against you.

No chance mate, that was hit very hard, right in the top corner.

Maybe so mate first I seen it on that video so maybe I'm being too harsh on him

I dont think keepers should have a wall at any free kick. Let them get a good view of it from the start.

Surprised no keeper has tried it.

I remember Nicky Weaver trying it once for Man City in a Manchester derby.

Free kick about 35 yards out and he didn't have a wall. David Beckham banged it right in the top corner.

Dortmund tried it last year, didn't go down well.

The boy will probably not score another like that this season. Just keeping it for us as usual.

I agree. I was right behind it and the wall and Oxleys positioning were terrible. All the guy had to do was pass it to that side with a bit of pace

I wonder if we'll see it on the tele the night? Only saw one camera at the game.
