That was my thinking SH, Griffiths is a home boy and has his kids who he adores, Celtic was an easy option for him at the time as he missed them and he was able to still live in Edinburgh, he'll like what's been happening with Stubbs and the players already in ( Gray, Allan, Fontaine, El Alagui ) the passing football and the chance to be a hero at his beloved Hibs again and get them promotion, especially at the expence of Hearts and The Rangers.

Had also heard a bit on this but was then told that Peter Lawwell had pulled the plug. However, since then Celtic have signed more players and confirmed the arrival of the guy from Spain so deal back on, especially with the financial hit of missing on the CL.

Celtic fan at my work reckons Celtic are wanting to loan him to a premier league team (probably dundee) instead but Leigh is wanting to join hibs. The feeling is it could go right to the deadline.

I will buy a season ticket and a child season ticket for this signing alone. I cannot afford it and it would be a bl00dy sore one but if Hibs show the commitment then I'm in too.

There are very few silver bullets for anything in life but I genuinely believe that bringing Leigh back would instantly kill a lot of the pain from the last few years. I also think that signing him would virtually guarantee at least a play-off place because I think he would score for fun in this league.

This is exactly how I see it. Doesn't matter how well talks go and in principle things get agreed. Until the player signs no deal is done. I've seen players in a managers office with 2 hours left to go about to sign and had a call and they have walked.

Money talks guys and Leigh may get a better deal elsewhere and might fancy it. But what I will say is Hibs from what was said to me is everything is in place and agreed it's down to the guys at Celtic to give the green light!

Of course. This is all 'rumour' although it would seem to be the case that things are happening at Parkhead. Commons not startting in the CL and rumours that he wants away, RD signing more players and it seems that they are not too happy with the attitude of some of their players.
