Where we not linked with Pattison last year, he looks familiar?

Sparta are Dutch 2nd tier club which is still better than Scottish football, so he'll have decent skills.

That Pattison looks decent in his video (but so did De Graaf) but he seems to be in an acre of space everytime he gets the ball !

Wasnt Pattison on trial under Fenlon?

He was also just on trial at Birminham (who have yet to decide if they will offer him a deal)

Interesting that Clarke says he can be a handful tho, in terms of dealing with him?

If this helps, I've done some good deals on Football Manager from Eredivisie

I'm confident in Stubbs decisions if he thinks he will add something to the starting 11 I'm sure he will bring them in if not I'm sure he will have another few cards up his sleeve

reminds me of ex Everton Thomas Graveson lol

like how when he makes a pass he doesn't stand and admire it he goes forward. Good range of passing lots of energy.

Nice to see we're still hoping to add as I feared our transfer activity was over. I think we still need at least a couple in.

Load of Rubbish....Dutch domestic football isn't that great tobe honest.
You should try going to a 2nd tier game...maybe you'll see what I mean!

Pattison looks a bundle of energy and a bit of a handful - but videos can deceive.
Deekman on the other hand looks a bit lightweight and the video does not really sell him well.
Alan Stubbs will hopefully make the right decisions once he has seen them in the flesh.

Pattison looks like a busy player who likes to get forward, but knows how to track back too. Could be worth a punt.

Deekman ..... not so sure, but its hard to tell how good a striker is from 3 minutes on you tube.

Not sure about Dutch 2nd division football, but I remember a few years back one of the council telly channels used to show top flight games and all I can say is judging from what I saw then Dutch football is a bore fest ...... perhaps its improved since.

For Pattison to give the ball away and over hit passes that many times in a highlights reel doesn't bode well.

May be right mate but you seem to be making a bit of a generalisation there. There will still be some gems to be found in any lower league. Andrew Robertson was playing with Queens Park a couple of seasons ago and is now plying his trade in the Premiership. Loads of other examples so don't rubbish these guys before they get a proper crack at it..... :aok:

Remember guys Stubb did say we won't sign someone just because they have a good wiki or YouTube page. Let's see how they get on at training as we have had a few trialists this window and none have gotten deals

You may well be right. I have however been to a few 2nd tier games here and seen many on the television....the standard is not better than Scottish Premiership. You are right there are a few gems in league though....let's just hope Sparta(who are maybe on par with Ross County or someone) released someone who would be a better player in their team.

Many thanks for posting the links Dave having watched them like he look of Pattison - know it is only YouTube and almost anyone can be made to look good. However, having said that, he does look a prospect, whilst favouring his left foot isn't scared to pass/cross/shoot with his right. Of the two I would pick him as looks like the type of midfielder we could use. In Stubbs I trust.

Today has been awesome. Yesterday I was full of dread we would possibly stick with what we have until Jan. Much more positive again and can't wait until Monday. Oh yeah and humping Alloa. Ggtth

Did Deekman not play for us round about the same time that Riordan used to be stuck out on the wing? Used to be loads of folk in the East stand shouting about him, "Come on Deek man, get ****ing back and defend"

We need pace, so a striker that can tear a strip would be great.
