Here is the plonker's website page on his values. Note the "professionalism" descriptor.

Maybe he expected him to roll about the floor in agony like he would have done during the game.

What a coward. I genuinely hope someone goes through his right knee before the end of this season.

Big Duncan Ferguson got some porridge for less than that

Ferguson had previous convictions (fines) for assault and was on a year's probation at the time of the incident.

PSG have confirmed that Motta has a broken nose, but neither the club nor the player are lodging an official (ie. legal) complaint.

Bastia have publicly condemned Brandao but are waiting on the punishment of the football authorities (which could be a 1-2 year ban) before deciding on the course of action that they'll take. The chances are that a lengthy ban would see Brandao sacked.

Luis Suarez has rightly been slaughtered and punished accordingly, but this incident in my opinion is way worse than what Suarez has done.

4 months for Suarez and some would say that was light, this assault should get at least 2 years maybe even more in my opinion.

it was still a witch hunt from the SFA and no way merited a prison sentence, whereas the Motto incident is premeditated as he waits for him in the tunnel and IMO was far worse

It wasn't the SFA who sent him to prison. He was on 12 month's probation for his 3rd assault conviction and he decided to headbutt a guy in front of 40k spectators, the attendant police officers and the tv cameras. Maybe the Scottish league/SFA/whoever it was could have waited to see what the PF did before banning him, but then again, why should they have?

Brandao has now been charged and could, in theory, face a jail sentence.
