Take a bow everyone who was there. The songs were excellent right through the first half.
I could not hear any jambo songs on the telly just all the marvelous Hibs fans singing their hearts out.

How the team cannot rise to that beggars belief .

There has to be a cut off point at some point, at tynecastle for me was a long time ago, fair play to app those that still go.

Better supporters than me

This. I'm going to home games out of habit and to see mates. Well done to those who were still positive enough to go to Tiny in hope.

Was a great atmosphere to be a part off. Could feel the stand bouncing.

It just wasn't our day today. Individual errors by players and management alike have cost us dear. We need the fans to stick with it though, again. We are rebuilding a horrible mess from top to bottom and as utterly frustrating and demoralising ad it is it will take time to do properly. We should never have been in that place in the 1st place but we are and the support need to continue to play our part.

Gets boring hearing that the hibs fans were brilliant yet Hibs got beat it's the only good thing about our club atm it seems. I wish we would sit down for a change though. Half time wasn't long enough to recover ;).

Atmosphere was top class today. Really wish we could do the same at Easter Rd every week. Hearts on the other hand were like mice. Never heard a home support quite so quiet.

Football fans supporting their team shouldn't really need commending, but considering the consistent kick in the nether regions Hibs fans have had to endure, particularly in derby's, our support today was exceptional.

That was the high point for me, we out-sang them the whole game. Shame about the result.

Those fans deserve some success. If there is any justice they will get that success one day. Hope they don't have to wait too long.

I'm probably going to go against the grain a bit here, but I actually thought it was pretty quiet all round by usual standards, and it was disappointing to see so many people queuing to leave even before the Hearts penalty was taken. If's and but's I know, but we'd have still been in the big game had it not been scored.

That said, no doubt at all that we outsung their lot despite little inspiration on the field. You know it's getting bad though when I bumped in to a couple of Jambos on the way back to the car and then some others in the petrol station on the way home and they were all gracious in victory...I'd much rather they kept to the stereotype and ballooned about!

****Not necessarily a criticism of those leaving early by the way considering I did the same thing when watching Bolton on Tuesday night........leaving the game at 1-0 down on 92 minutes that ended up with Bolton 3-2 up in extra time by the time I got home!

Please let me reassure you that I was most definitely NOT referring to Hearts, Morrissey. I do not like Hearts and their obnoxious nasty supporters. They deserve f*** all. That's putting it very mildly.

I definitely mean us - the fantastic long suffering Hibs supporters. GGTTH. :aok:

Why the f*** does nothing ever go our way against these f***ing tramps.

Wee fans deserve better than this pish each season when we play these f***ers, each time these cants fall in s***e they keep coming up smelling of roses. Hate hertz.

Their first and second keepers were injured. We were presented with a 20 year old laddy making his debut.

We were given a penalty against them to take the lead.

We took advantage of neither. It took us until the 83 minute to even properly test the keeper besides the penalty.

We had opportunies. We blew it. Luck played no part. Lack of ability and lack of bottle did.

New dawn?? Same old, same old.

My old man's first Tynie derby since the Mercer debacle and says we deserve a medal for putting up with that the last 20-odd years. I've worked out I've no missed a Derby there since 2007 and we've scored 5 goals, two of which were late-on consolations, and we've won twice. What a load a pish!,

100% agree with this. If you don't create the chances you don't score I remember two missed headers first half a piss poor penalty and FEA header which was a good save but let's face it from 6 yards out he should have buried it great goal from him later tho. end of the day we must create more chances we weren't good enough in the midfield.
