Cheers is this a new policy locking down match day threads .Can understand we don't want them started too early but folk travelling to game from a distance like to go on before they leave for game ,becomes part of the match day routine

I get the not wanting match thread bunged up with stuff thats not actually match updates....maybe a new MATCH DAY thread could be initiated to cover travel updates / weather / ticket spares / snack options etc (which is all part of the match day routine) and a Match UPDATE thread for the 90 mins its self ?

Not a policy, it was just far too early. The threads get filled with 'stuff' as it is and people don't want to wade through that before getting to match news.

Good idea in principle but people would possibly be posting in the wrong threads with Admins having to tidy up. Worth thinking about though :greengrin

You clever bunch will make it work....just change the title of this to Match Day Thread (all the pre match prep).....and the locked one to Hearts v Hibs Match Update the 90 Mins.....:aok:

See how it works and if you can in fact teach old dogs new tricks
