There will have been more than 1577 folk from Hamilton at celtic park today! They can and do exist on crowds like that and although it is tragic that they are in that league and we're not, they deserve their chance.

Exactly. Although it's sad to see, unfortunately it's results on the pitch that decide which league a team will play in.

Nobody to blame for Hamilton being there other than ourselves.

As others have said they deserve to be there on merit. I'd also add their youth policy over recent times have sustained them, MacArthur & McCarthy for good money to Epl with add ons is great business.

It's pretty sickening to think that a club that is attracting attendances which are barely into four figures is in the top flight of Scottish football.

Hamilton deserve their place and good luck to them this season but it doesn't make it any easier.

Every football fan in Hamilton will have been at Celtic Park or the Falkirk Stadium this weekend, or sitting at home watching with their blue or green scarves on.

Success is wasted on every team in the West of Scotland barring you know who.

While I agree with the sentiment, 100%, the only way to answer this is on the field and the last rind the west of Scotland football fan admired us as an alternative was march 2007

Time to get back to those days!

I remember a few years ago there was a suggestion that being lower down the pyramid benefited Dunfermline financially. If that's Hamiltons crowds then they'll maybe be the same. :agree:

That Hibs have managed to get themselves relegated surely shows just how useless the management of the club was. In spite of an income vastly superior to the likes of ICT, Motherwell etc. we have been unable to establish ourselves as a top six club. Is this prudent management? I think not.

Interesting in that it shows Scottish football has no appeal anymore apart from to the loyal/hardy supporter. TV means restructuring will not happen, the OF are so far in front that even liquidation only delays the inevitable. It's game over as a competition and has been for ages. The only competition left as such are the cups as the OF sometimes concentrate on Europe for TV money and one off upsets happen.
