If its haggerston castle caravan park theres a sports bar there which will definitely show the game - have watched many a game in there when caravanning with the family

it isn't still there - its now a big restaurant/bar area, kind of like a wotherspoons.

they will show the game in there though.

There's a bus will take you from right outside Haven @ Haggy (up on the main road) to Berwick (Golden Sq). Takes 10 mins.

Plenty decent pubs in the High Street to choose from.:thumbsup:

Im sure the lounge at Haven will show it though. They always show the footie, Eng and Scots.

The Sports Bar closed many years ago to be replaced by a pub called The Mash & Barrel (similar to your usual Weatherspoons). The Mash & Barrel have about 6 TV screens dotted around the place but I find if there is a big English game on at the same time (especially Sunderland or Newcastle) then you're *****ed. Ask at the bar the day before. They sometimes have a blackboard on show when you go into the the bar from the amusements with the list of games showing. Also - if they have the sound turned down just ask at the bar at they should turn one of the screens sound on.
