That would make sense I suppose - hardly seems worth it, given how few teams there are to start with.

We're in the seeded group, therefore can't be drawn against another seeded team (e.g. Hearts)

Listening to the show on radio scotland, the pundits reckon the new celtic manager doesn't fancy Leigh Griffiths, he isn't in the pool of players for the game tonight. Get this sorted Rod, put in a cheeky wee bid for him,you never know it could happen especially if celtic go out of europe he will have to make cuts.

Still roughing up the Rangers ball with sandpaper so they can 'feel' it in the bag.

Hard game - I reckon they could be top 6 this season - top part time side in Scotland

We can only pray

Can't see it but can't see him at any other team as a loan

But imagine if Celtic wanted to try and prevent Rangers from gaining promotion.....a loan of LG to Hibs.

I thought that Celtic might want Ranger sback for more interest but the few fans I know want them to stay down.

So, Dumbarton. A nice tie at home. Dumbarton were decent last year. Murray and Boozy.

A good day out I think !! Are the dates also decided tonight?

We can only pray

Can't see it but can't see him at any other team as a loan

They wont loan him to a rival and we would probably be he only club in scotland they would loan him to. He wont go down south on loan i would imagine. So IF he has fallen out with Delia and IF they want rid off its not entirely impossible......

To add to the conspiracy, he has, or is, buying a house, in a location east of Edinburgh close to the A1. Can only mean one thing surely. :greengrin

Franck Stanton

Would really love Leigh to come home, cannae see it happening, unfortunately. IF it did, the signing would certainly add a few S/T sales and almost guarantee promotion. I have never been in the "Spend big" camp, however, in this instance I would be only too happy for the Club to beg/steal/borrow the cash to get him back. We can but dream eh

It would certainly galvanise the support further after last night and would be a real statement of intent. Can't see it happening but hope like hell it does...come on LD bring Leigh home!!

We sit here impatiently waiting for the draw for the league cup and all of a sudden the thread turns into a 'fantasy' thread of LG out of favour at Celtic and coming to ER on loan :greengrin

I know it was all said in wishful thinking but don't ever let anyone said we never see the big picture of a home tie against Dumbarton in the League Cup.
