Apologies for being dim....
Does Danny Handling miss Saturday's league game after the red car or does that suspension come later ?

That simply has to be appealled. If not he will miss Saturday.

Sorry if being thick but it was a cup (albeit mickey mouse) tie so why is he suspended for league?? I agree it must be appealed!

Straight red means next match irrespective of domestic competition.

If deemed violent conduct it may mean a 2 or 3 game ban.

Hibs need to appeal it.

It's run under SFA rules etc so any suspensions would carry over, it should be appealed as he got a touch on the ball, clumsy challenge at best and no more than a yellow.

I sadly think an appeal would be unsuccessful as the SFA will probably stick with their man, if an appeal doesn't work does he not get a two game ban? or does it stay as one?

I thought it was only next game if deemed violent contact. All other reds were next game in that competition.

Precedent being James McPake straight red (?) v them last season and suspended for Dundee LC tie last Saturday.....
