1 year ago today the Hibernian family lost one of it's finest sons

jeezo a year already, fantastic football player and a gentleman :( unfortunately i'l never forget the game when the fans paid tribute to Lawrie

The fans did Lawrie proud that night, sadly the team and manager didn't.
Unfortunately never got to see him play but met him several times and he was a true gentleman who genuinely loved Hibs.
Probably the greatest Hibee of them all.

Probably the greatest player in the club's history, his likes we'll almost certainly never see again.
That's probably the biggest tribute I could pay to the great man.
Can't believe it's been a whole year since his passing.

A saint amongst us mere mortals. Far too young to have seen him play but I shook like a 25yr old bairn years later when he signed my battered '100 Years of Hibs'......story recorded elsewhere.
And every time I met him afterwards I remained in awe. What a toff though.
I know we have the FF, but if ever a stand needed a name it needs his........
