There'll probably be twice the number of arrests for breach of the peace tonight up town. Wonder if that'll make the news?

I know what you are saying mate, but football related violence is under reported in scotland, and because of this people start to critisize over the number of police who start appearing at games/on trains/outside grounds etc. This is type of incident is exactly why this happens. Most of the time is is not reported because it doesn't happen inside the grounds or sometime after the game has ended.

Is this incident the demonstration after the game.?

Hope 2 of them were the animals that tried to attack 2 girls in a car causing them to run a man over.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, it doesn't say they are Hibs fans?

My impression was that she was defending her garden, hoe in hand, against drinks cans, chip wrappers etc.

Also didn't seem to be in the best of mental health and was speaking some local dialect

One of them is 46, I'm guessing he's never had a girlfriend.

Might be the 32 year old, and 46 year old getting desperate.

I don't think there will be many Hamilton fans in Seafield, Leith, Tollcross, Slateford and Gorgie.

Aberdeen was a war zone on Thursday.
1000 Dutch fans were herded into a few bars around the Castlegate pre and post match. I ended up with all the Aberdeen casuals in my pub which is near by before the game finished. It was truly tragic with 3 generations in attendance. Ages ranging from 16 to late 50's. The police were about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
I overheard one proud father telling his teenage son that the trip to Groningen next week will be the ultimate buzz. Apparently being out numbered and taking a kick-in is what it's all about. As I said, tragic.

Aberdeen always took a good kicking.

Hopefully The Gron' turn them over next week too.
On and off.

The missus and me were down there too. As Vince says on the next post she did obviously have some mental health issues and it was probably wrong to laugh but it was funny.
