Sounds like maybe not many more players coming in which will be hugely disappointing

Based on what?

I didn't see anything in Stubbs quotes to suggest he wouldn't be signing anyone else.

I'd always presumed that Heffernan would be away, I'll be delighted if he plays for us next season.

He's happy enough with strike force by sounds that interview obviously new keeper to come in and maybe 1 or 2 players I'd be very surprised if we bring more than that in

Heffernan and El Alagui should both do well next year, Cummings seems to be improving and should offer something as well. Those three with youth players coming through should be decent, IMO. Wouldn't say no to another striker of course but I'd be pretty happy with that.

We definitely need more players elsewhere, though, and I don't see why we won't get them.

100% need at least 5 players 1 keeper but just think we won't see that unfortunately hopefully am wrong btw

He'll score a bundle next season if we play to his strengths, should be the main focal point of the team imo. :agree:

If fit of course seems to be very injury prone.

This is good, but they'll need to get a move on with getting our season tickets out to us if it's true

I was thinking if we could have tried to get a big named team and said it was free for all with ST,s may have shifted more ST,s, not slating just saying likes.

Even if we had arranged to play Barcelona or Chelsea etc I don't think it would have tempted fans to buy a season ticket.

I remember going to Watford v The Hammers the day England won The Rugby World Cup, the town was like a war zone at about 11am with drunken rugger fans strewn all over the place. IIRC it was 0-0 and pishing down, one of the worst games I've ever seen and The Hammers let me down for my fixed odds!

The only thing that could've made it worse is if Elton John had bumped into me from behind!

I don't think the Evening News would report it if there was no truth behind it. Buzzing to see some quality players, Troy Deeney is a class act, they just signed Gomes from spurs too, he's great to watch 😂

Sure they have that lad Anya who plays for Scotland now.

He's a good wee player.

I first seen the hatters in 1983 when they were on the cusp of their most successful period, glad they're back in the football league and hope 20/20 gets them back up the divisions once more :-)

Most Luton fans have nothing but good words to say about Mickey, he was rated in his 4 months there.

As in underwhelming, massively disastrous and risky slit-wrists disappointing?

:agree: I had to do a double take this morning when i saw on the Official site we were playing Dundee Utd on the 27th. Thought i was going a bit wonky as i was convinced i read on here and in the EEN it was Watford.
The EEN did indeed ermmm "confirm" yesterday that it was Watford we were playing on the 27th...not like them to get something completely wrong eh? :greengrin

Looks like Hibs were correct not to announce the game then.

Might also explain why we don't announce signings etc until the ink is dry on the contract and why supporters have to be a bit patient.

Would have looked stupid if we had jumped the gun.

How about " we can copy Everton's lead with a threadbare squad". "Whatever number we go with it will be a number that can compete". Sounds very much as if there will not be many (if any) more coming in. I hope to God i am wrong.

What is the minimum number you can play in a league game, 7? Well on target.:cb

They were coming up to play us and Dundee Utd but called off for whatever reason...hence we are now playing Utd.
